Venezuela holds World Anti-Fascist Day in Moscow

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the city of Moscow, capital of Russia, Jesús Salazar Velásquez, from the diplomatic headquarters developed topics about the consequences of fascism in its various manifestations, especially the fight against the manipulation of minds, through the media dictatorship imposed by the West with a unique vision of the world, adjusted to its interests.

The event began with the conclusions that took place at the World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and Other Similar Expressions, held in Caracas on September 10 and 11, an activity that included representatives of social movements, political parties, students and workers, who developed the different themes in relation to the onslaught of neofascist groups supported by Western elites.

In the presentations, the Russian Chapter of the Anti-Fascist International was formed, which materialized the conclusions adopted at the World Congress held in Caracas, supported by the signing of the Declaration of Russian Solidarity Groups, as part of the World Anti-Fascist Day and in Solidarity with Venezuela.

The event was attended by the political scientist Leonid Sávin, who is the coordinator of the “Fidel Castro” Foundation; the journalist of the Sputnik news agency, Victor Ternovsky; the vice-president of the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, Olga Popova; the advisor for Foreign Affairs of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, Vladlen Áreshev, and other authorities.
