Venezuela is an international reference in the preservation and conservation of Mother Earth, through programs, plans and concrete actions carried out by the National Government of President Nicolás Maduro, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, led by Josué Lorca.

“Venezuela is the guarantor of all the international commitments established by the United Nations (UN). Right now, the most important Biodiversity Summit in the world is in full swing,” said Minister Lorca.

He also added that through COP16 and the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), in Cali, Colombia, in which we have a great representation with the presentation of a report. “We are responsible for the Parks Network at the international level and we are the coordinator of the 33 Latin American countries of national parks.”

In this regard, the Minister of Ecosocialism added that he will soon travel to deliver the National Strategy for Biological Diversity to the corresponding organizations, instructed by the national president, who attests to the fulfillment of international commitments to the care and protection of the environment.
