Venezuela presents its supply system in the Regional Network of Public Food Supply and Marketing Systems, during the ninth Meeting of the Regional Network of Public Food Supply and Marketing Systems (SPAA), held in Brazil.

In a press release on the Radio Miraflores website, he points out that Venezuela demonstrated this week its leadership in the fight against hunger, by sharing the methodology of the successful Venezuelan food distribution system, it is capable of delivering nearly 300,000 tons of food to the public sector. Attend 18 social programs across the country.

The Venezuelan delegation, which participated in this activity, was led by the Deputy Minister of Marketing and Food Production of the Ministry of Popular Power for Food (Minppal), Francisco Fonseca, and the Deputy Minister of Territorial Planning of the Ministry of the People's Power of Planning, Edgar Valero.

The above-mentioned regional network seeks to promote a dialogue based on the experiences generated by members of the SPAA Network in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Regarding food supply and marketing policies aimed at promoting agri-food systems, with inclusive, resilient and sustainable characteristics, in the face of climate change and emergency situations.
