Venezuela participates in “Made in Russia” Forum for new export dynamics

The Deputy Minister
for Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion of the Ministry of the
People's Power of Economy and Finance, Johann Álvarez, and the Venezuelan ambassador in Moscow,
Jesús Salazar, participated in the International Forum “Made in Russia”, which
addressed the new dynamics of exports of the Eurasian giant.
During the event
, the challenges and opportunities faced by the Russian economy in the face of
the reduction of exports to Western countries and the increase in transaction
costs as a result of sanctions were discussed.
In addition, new
logistics routes were identified, as well as the importance of increasing exports not derived from
natural resources, an objective aligned with the
national development plans of the Eurasian nation, according to a press release.
The
plenary session, called “Map of Russian exports: the road is
built”, served as a platform to explore strategies on how to
overcome barriers in international trade and optimize the competitiveness
of Russian products in new markets.
