Venezuela participates in the International MUSIAD Expo 2024 in Türkiye

This Tuesday, November 26, Venezuela participated in the inauguration of the twentieth edition of EXPO MUSIAD 2024, a multi-business event that will be held from November 26 to 29 at the TÜYAP Congress and Exhibition Center in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The Ministry of People's Power of National Commerce, on its website, points out that participation is part of the plan to strengthen the 7 Economic Transformations of Venezuela to move towards a prosperous future (7T-2030), emanating from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
The delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion, Johann Álvarez, and the president of the Venezuelan Export Promotion Agency and the Marca País Institute, Daniela Cabello.
At the event, Venezuela seeks to strengthen trade and economic relations with Türkiye, through foreign investment and the promotion of non-oil exports.
Álvarez stressed that the goal is to increase trade between the two countries and to show the world the productive capacities with high quality standards that Venezuela has.
“We are here, on the instructions of the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to participate in this Fair, at some point in the bilateral relationship, more than one billion dollars in trade were established between the two nations and the current goal is to achieve a second stage with a maximum of 3 billion dollars,” he said.
He added that Venezuelan businessmen are present in Türkiye, to promote domestic products under the “Made in Venezuela” seal.
“Relations between Türkiye and Venezuela have been strengthening for many years at the commercial and economic level, which is why in 2025 we will be holding two Fairs, one in Türkiye in the first quarter of the year and the other in Caracas at the end of 2025,” he ratified.
