Venezuela promotes educational alliances with Asian countries

The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh Moreno, met with Sandra Oblitas, rector of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), to review joint academic initiatives between Venezuela and Asian countries.

During the meeting, representatives of the UBV participated and discussed new educational proposals adapted to national needs, with a focus on South-South cooperation, the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs reported in a press release.

Pugh emphasized the importance of strengthening these ties within the framework of Bolivarian Diplomacy. For its part, Oblitas reaffirmed the institutional commitment to promote critical teaching aligned with international strategic agreements.
