In the second phase of the meeting of ministers, ministers and senior authorities in the scientific and technological area of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Venezuela presented a proposal for the creation of air and water routes between the member countries of the alliance.

In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, stressed that this initiative seeks to strengthen regional connectivity and promote self-sustainability in the transport sector.

He stressed that Venezuela makes the companies CONVIASA and VENAVEGA available to consolidate these routes.

In addition, it offers facilities for training pilots and air traffic technicians. The country's capacity to design and manufacture catamaran-type boats and drones for agriculture, surveillance and tourism was also highlighted.

Velásquez Araguayán emphasized that transport is a fundamental pillar for countries' development, especially in the context of international sanctions.

The proposal includes incentives such as airport taxes to promote tourism and trade between ALBA-TCP countries.

In the context of this proposal, the leading role of women in the transport sector was highlighted, with a participation of 43% in Venezuela, and the ALBA-TCP countries were urged to promote their inclusion.

This initiative reinforces Venezuela's commitment to regional integration and the construction of a sustainable future for the peoples of the ALBA-TCP.

The next meeting of the block will be key to finalizing the necessary agreements and moving forward in the implementation of these routes.
