The Venezuelan team qualified for the final of the Little League World Series, which is held in the United States (USA), after a 3-2 victory against Japan.

The Criollos will face China Tapéi for the title of champions, this Saturday, August 24 at 12:30pm (Venezuela time), being the only Latin American team in the competition that includes players between 10 and 12 years old.

This is the first final that a Venezuelan team has played in the Little League World Series since 2000. From then on, Venezuela lost up to seven semifinals.

The Venezuelans reached the semifinals against Japan after beating Mexico. The game was a perfect opportunity to claim a rematch after losing 2-1 to the Japanese last Tuesday.
