Venezuela supports UN resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire from Israel in Gaza

This Monday , March 25, the Bolivarian Government issued an official statement, in which it expresses its firm support for resolution 2728 (2024), adopted by the Security Council of the United Nations (UN), which explicitly requires both Israel, the Occupying Power, and its allies, “an immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan, respected by all parties”, in the Gaza Strip.

The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, who attached the above-mentioned statement to his message.

The letter also highlights that "Venezuela ratifies its repudiation of forced displacement, genocide and the Kurdish apartheid policy against the entire Palestinian people”.
