Venezuela swept the Simón Bolívar International Wrestling League on the final day of the third stop

Venezuela won 15 of the 18 fights on the final day of the third stop of the “Simon Bolivar” International Wrestling League, played in the gymnasium of the Benilde Ascanio Educational Complex, in Montalbán, Caracas.
For its part, the Mambises team prevailed in the remaining 3 fights.
Gladiators (Venezuela) dominated the last round of Greco-Roman wrestling, winning in 4 of the 6 divisions contested, while the Mambises team won two titles.
In the 67 kg category, the Venezuelan Neyser Marimón won 10-0 by suspension of combat due to technical superiority over the Cuban Osmany Coba (Mambises). In the bronze match, Jhonaiker Martínez (Mineros) beat Jhonathan Bermúdez (Petroleros) 4-2.
In the 87 kg division, Jesús Caraballo (Gladiators) beat the Cuban, Víctor Díaz (Mambises), for technical superiority 10-0 after two consecutive projections. Jesús Colina (Petroleros) achieved 10-0 technical superiority in the fight against Jhonnei Ortega (Mineros) for the bronze medal.
In a fairly even match from the start, which was tied 4-4 in the first half, the Venezuelan Tomás Cariaco (Gladiators) imposed his conditions in the second half to beat Gebián González (Mambises) 8-4 in the 97 kg division. The bronze medal went to Damián Pavone (Oil Workers) , who won the fight 12-4 against Royker Ferro (Miners).
In the 130 kg, Venezuelan Moisés Pérez (Gladiators) decisively dominated Adrián Padrón from Cuba. With three consecutive projections, he reached a score of 10-0 that forced the suspension of the fight just 1:30 into the first round. Brayan Loyo (Petroleros) beat Isaías Millán (Mineros) 5-1 for the bronze medal.
The Venezuelan gladiators were decisive in women's wrestling, winning the six medals played on the closing day.
In the 50 kg division, Venezuela's Nohalis Loyo (Gladiators) beat Cuba's Daniela Osorio (Mambises) 2-0. For third place and bronze medal, Adreilin Zamora (Mineros) beat Eliana Toledo (Oil Workers) for technical superiority.
Alexa Álvarez (Gladiators) won 10-0 for technical superiority over Cuban Michel Castillo (Mambises) by 53 kg. The bronze medal went to Jeanmary Arrioja (Mineros), who beat María Fuentes (Oil Workers) 3-1.
In the 57 kg category, Mayra Parra (Gladiators) beat Cuba's Zamnanta Sebasco (Mambises) 4-2 in a close match. The third rung was left to Niunyerlis Fernández (Petroleros), who won by technical superiority 12-2 over Nayaris Requena (Mineros).
The 62 kg division was dominated without major complications by Astrid Montero (Gladiators) from Venezuela, who achieved a resounding victory for technical superiority 10-0 against María Laguna (Mambises).
In the 68 kg division, the Venezuelan Soleimy Caraballo (Gladiators) staged an exciting fight against Brenda Sterling (Mambises), with a definitive 10-8 projection in favor of Caraballo. While Luz Cuauro (Petroleros) won the bronze medal for technical superiority 10-0 against Sthephany De la Rosa (Mineros).
María Acosta (Gladiators) won the 76 kg division by beating Leydis Martínez (Mambises) by technical superiority 10-0. In the same way, Neirily Banguero (Petroleros) won bronze against Arianny Arrieta (Miners).
The Venezuelan gladiators also took hold of men's wrestling with 5 gold medals.
Wilfredo Rodríguez (Gladiators) beat Cuban Jean Oliveros (Mambises) 6-3 for gold in the 65 kg division. Víctor Parra (Oil Workers) beat Joseph Chávez (Miners) 10-0 for the bronze medal.
In the 74 kg, Venezuelan Harry Duno (Gladiators) beat Jorge Vicet (Mambises) 10-0. Ricardo Oyoque (Petroleros) won the bronze after winning the 5-4 match against Gerardo Bocanegra (Mineros).
In the 97 kg category, Uriel Valencia (Gladiators) won the match by submission to Daniel Quiroga (Mambises). José Martínez (Petroleros) took bronze after winning the fight for technical superiority against Eduar Parra (Mineros).
In the 125 kg division, Cristian Sarco (Gladiators) defeated Darrel Lee (Mambises) by submission. Jamy Grueso (Mineros) won 15-4 for technical superiority over Yosvanny Mayor (Petroleros) for the bronze medal.
