Venezuela thanked Nicaragua for solidarity in the face of new imperial aggressions

The Foreign Minister of the Republic Yván Gil Pinto, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, expressed his thanks to the Nicaraguan Head of State for his firm rejection of the recent attack of the U.S. empire against Venezuela.

Through his Telegram channel, the foreign minister wrote: “We express our sincerest thanks to President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo for their firm rejection of the recent attack of the U.S. empire against Venezuela through new sanctions against officials of our Bolivarian Government, who have dedicated their efforts to the defense and protection of our Homeland”.

The Government of Nicaragua, through a missive repudiation and rejection of “the arbitrary, illegal measures”, which they described as “aggressions”, “that today, North American Imperialism, clothed in a voice that they no longer have, nor can they have, has issued against 21 Venezuelan brothers, in the attempt to seize the Libertarian, Irrevocable and Unstoppable Determination, of the People of Bolivar, of Chávez, of Nicolás”.
