Venezuela thanks Iran for its firm condemnation of the US announcement to close Venezuelan airspace

The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela expressed its sincerest gratitude for the firm condemnation that the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed in the face of the recent unilateral action of the United States Government to declare the closure of Venezuelan airspace.

“His courageous and decisive stance in defense of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Venezuela resonates deeply with our people,” said the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel.

He also emphasized that the violation of the fundamental norms and principles of international law, as well as threats to the safety and security of international aviation, “are shared concerns that unite us in our fight for a world of justice, dignity and peace.”
