Venezuela thanks Iran's congratulations and support for successful regional elections

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, thanked this Thursday, May 29, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, the “sister Islamic Republic of Iran for their significant message of support and warm congratulations” to the Venezuelan people, on the occasion of the results of the last elections of May 25.

Gil published his thanks on his Telegram channel, specifying that the “destiny of our nation will continue to be intertwined with the struggles of sister peoples such as that of Iran”.

The message sent by Iran highlights that the elections were held with the presence of more than 1,400 international observers and that it has been demonstrated that the People choose their political destiny.
