Venezuela thanks Russia for a new message of support in the face of imperial threats and aggressions

The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, thanked the Russian Federation this Thursday for its new message of solidarity and support with the Latin American nation in the face of threats and aggressions by the United States (USA).

During this same day, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, María Zajárova, expressed her support for the Venezuelan people “and their inalienable right to self-determination and to free and sovereign development,” Gil said on her Telegram channel.

“We deeply value your call to respect the Caribbean Peace Zone, as well as the importance of prioritizing dialogue and mutual respect in international relations. Venezuela is firmly opposed to threats, militarization and unilateral measures that seek to impose themselves on our peoples,” he said.
