On November 18, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will inaugurate the Apostille Appointment Service Office in Havana, Cuba, to provide direct, expedited service and avoid the payment of an agency for carrying out consular procedures for Venezuelans on the island.

This space will be located on Miramar Avenue in the Cuban capital, according to the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, which informed through the social network Instagram that Venezuelans must first request their appointment through the institution's website, and come on the day of the appointment with their identity document, ID and/or passport, documents to be apostilled and the payment of the corresponding consular fee.

“Thanks to the efforts of the Government of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who continues to promote Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy and provide quality services to compatriots abroad, despite the criminal unilateral coercive measures imposed by Western imperialism,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized on the aforementioned digital platform.

He specified that the apostille procedures for children's and adolescents' documents are exempt from payment, and must be managed by their representatives.
