The Venezuelan U12 baseball team beat Brazil 3-0 in its debut in the Pan-American Championship in the category that takes place in Panama.

In the second inning, the Venezuelan national team took the lead with the hits of left fielder Eliezer Fariñas and central defender Jesús Rodríguez.

Then, they added one more line in the fifth inning with the sacrifice fly of receiver Carlos Gutiérrez, who put Adrián Ríos on the run and runs to reach the rubber comfortably, according to the Ministry of Sports press.

The Venezuelan national team kept the Brazilian bullpen in trouble throughout the match, after filling the bases on multiple occasions.

The next round of the Venezuelans at the Pan-American Championship will be this Tuesday 22nd against the Dominican Republic at 3:30pm ( Venezuelan time) at the Rod Carew stadium in Panama.
