Venezuela Women treated women during a health day in Yaracuy

Through the Great Venezuela Women's Mission, 300 women were treated in the town of Chivacoa, Bruzual municipality of Yaracuy, with a full day of health.

The activity was held on the indoor court in the Tamarindo sector, where the different institutions involved offered various medical, social and surgical services. As detailed in a regional press release, almost 100 infants from the communities that make up the southern axis of Chivacoa were also treated. The patients received consultations in the areas of gynecology, general medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics and nutrition. Laboratory tests, cytology, medications, vitamins and advice in the area of entrepreneurship were also offered, all free of charge.

In the same way, pregnant women were assisted and incorporated into the Humanized Childbirth and Breastfeeding Plan. Young women were registered in the National Plan for the Prevention and Reduction of Early and Adolescent Pregnancy (PRETA).
