Venezuela Women's Grand Mission benefits women from La Guaira with a full day

The Great Mission of Venezuela Women deployed a comprehensive health operation in the Popular Office of the Airport Neighborhood, Urimare parish in the state of La Guaira, where more than 300 women from seven surrounding sectors were treated, many of them in vulnerable situations.

The single health authority in the state, Nelare Bermúdez, explained that the day offered free consultations in general medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, family planning, nutrition and educational talks on the right to a life free of violence. The attendees were able to enjoy orthopedic care, ultrasound and nutrition.

A review by the regional press, Bermúdez added that “the mission transcends itinerant days. He noted that the Comprehensive Care Unit for Women at CAT 10 de Marzo is operational for specialized tests such as mammograms, bone densitometry and video colposcopies.”
