Venezuela won one silver and three bronzes in the Poomsae category of taekwondo at the Bolivarian Games

Venezuela won one silver and three bronzes in the Poomsae category of taekwondo at the Lima-Ayacucho 2025 Bolivarian Games, which are being held at the Canaan Exhibition and Convention Center in the city of Huamanga.

The silver medal went to the men's freestyle team made up of Aaron Bolívar, Bryan González and Georfren Reyes, with a total of 7,499 points, surpassed only by Guatemalans César Aguilar, Héctor Morales and Dany Coy.

The bronze medals came thanks to Fernanda Melillo in the individual women's freestyle category, the mixed freestyle team comprised of Georfren Reyes and Oquisis Rodríguez, and the last one went to Fernanda Melillo, Ivanna Pérez and Oquisis Rodríguez in the women's freestyle.

Melillo won his third team bronze in Bolivarian jousts, after winning in Valledupar 2022, Ayacucho 2024 and the current edition of Ayacucho-Lima 2025. While in free singles, he debuted with third place, after scoring 6,466 points in the final of the competition.
