Venezuelan Aeronautical Authority received a request from the US to resume repatriation flights (+statement)

The Venezuelan Aeronautical Authority reported having received a request from the United States Government to resume repatriation flights of compatriots to the country.
The information was released by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel, where he published part of the official statement.
“On instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, EASTERN AIRLINES LLC aircraft are authorized to enter the Phoenix-Maiquetia route, as part of the repatriation flights of Venezuelan migrants, in accordance with the laws of the Republic and international civil aviation,” said part of the statement.
In this regard, the National Government has declared that the repatriation of compatriots will continue through the Plan Back to the Fatherland, reiterating its commitment to the reunification of Venezuelan families.

The Venezuelan Aeronautical Authority reports that it has received a request from the United States Government to resume repatriation flights of Venezuelan migrants from that country to Venezuela.
Consequently, on instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, aircraft operated by the company EASTERN AIRLINES LLC, on the Phoenix, Arizona-Maiquetia route, with flight number EAL8280/8281, are authorized to enter our airspace on aircraft B777-200, registration number N771KW (main), N825KW (alternate), to land at Maiquetia International Airport, as has been the case on a regular weekly basis on Wednesdays and Fridays, since the signed agreement between our Government and the U.S. administration.
This authorization has been issued in accordance with the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and international civil aviation laws.
The repatriation of our compatriots to reunite the Venezuelan family through the Plan Back to the Fatherland will continue.
