The designated ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Italy, María Elena Uzzo, formally handed over the Style Copies of her Credential Letters to the head of the Diplomatic Ceremonial of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the European country, Ambassador Bruno Antonio Pasquino.
The ceremony was held at the historic headquarters of the Italian Foreign Ministry, La Farnesina, in an atmosphere of respect for the inauguration of the Venezuelan representative, thus reaffirming the protocols of courtesy and distinction that govern relations between sovereign States.
This act constitutes the formal beginning of the protocol process of accreditation, which will soon culminate in the Quirinal Palace, seat of the Presidency of the Italian Republic, through the solemn ceremony for the delivery of Credentials to President Sergio Mattarella.
