Venezuelan delegation completed tourism management seminar in China

With the participation of
representatives of the Ministry of People's Power for Tourism and
regional authorities, the
international seminar Tourism Management for Venezuela culminated in the province of Hainan, China,
an initiative aimed at strengthening the technical, operational and
planning capacities of the national tourism sector.
The single tourism
authority of the state of Carabobo, Alba Adrianza, highlighted that
for two weeks the participants received specialized training and
exchanged experiences on innovation, planning and tourism development.
He also assured that the
knowledge acquired will contribute to strengthening the promotion and
exploitation of Venezuela's multi-destination potential.
The academic
agenda included topics related to technological innovation,
observation of competitive industries, heritage conservation,
commercial cooperation, environmental management and the design of strategies to promote economic
development linked to tourism.
In addition to training activities, the Venezuelan delegation carried out
an agenda of technical visits to reference spaces of the
Chinese tourism model, including the permanent headquarters of the Boao Forum for Asia, the
Nanqian village and various attractions in the city of Sanya, such as the Luhuitou
Hill Park, the Romance Park, the city's tourist viewpoint and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
The participants pointed out that this
experience will allow the incorporation of new tools and methodologies to
strengthen tourism management in the country, with an emphasis on innovation,
sustainability and the diversification of the national offer.
