Venezuelan government sends new group of firefighters to Bolivia to fight fires

The Minister for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca, reported that the replacement of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force has been sent to the Plurinational State of Bolivia to continue fighting the forest fires that have occurred in recent months.
He added that this group will relieve those who for more than 20 days have dedicated tireless efforts on the front lines of combat the devastating heat sources and fires affecting Santa Cruz, in Bolivia.
“These contingent of 60 firefighters and forest firefighters from Venezuela, per group, work tirelessly to put out the flames, supported by a team of specialists in remote fire detection, as well as pre-hospital care and rescue professionals from MINEC,” he said .
He reiterated that this humanitarian effort not only reflects Venezuela's commitment to environmental protection, but is also a clear example of solidarity between sister nations.
