Venezuelan Kenpo won 21 medals at the IKC World Cup in Aguascalientes (+Mexico)

A total of 21 medals were brought by the Kenpo team from Venezuela present at the IKC World Cup that was held in Aguascalientes, Mexico.


The Venezuelan delegation was made up of athletes from Aragua and the Capital District: Genesis Castro, Francoise Pérez, Carlos Ávila, Abraham González, master Joana Sánchez and youth athlete Zaid Méndez.

Méndez, 15 years old, stood out in the world cup after winning 2 gold medals.

For their part, Ávila, Pérez and González also won gold medals in team forms. While in the discipline of creative forms, González and Pérez won a silver and bronze medal, respectively.

In addition, the sporting event was attended by 1200 athletes from 18 countries around the world.

With these results, Venezuela continues to reinforce its sporting level in Kenpo, bringing important medals to our country that encourage and expand the practice of sports in the country.
