This Friday, January 23, the Venezuelan people took to the streets of Caracas in a large mobilization to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the overthrow of the dictatorial government of Marcos Pérez Jiménez and to demand the release of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores.

Among those present, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stands out, who reaffirmed that loyalty has been consolidated and has become a collective value of the Venezuelan people.

“The loyalty of the People has been built, little by little, with the strength of conscience, morality and the many battles we have had; I said a long time ago that loyalty was an individual value, but today it is a collective value that is entrenched in the conscience of our People,” said Cabello.

For his part, Deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra pointed out that “President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, were kidnapped in violation of all international law, the conventions that protect Heads of State, our sovereignty was violated, undermining international law. Today, international law is wounded and bleeding.”
