The Venezuelan referee Jesús Valenzuela was appointed by CONMEBOL to lead the final of the South American Cup Cup, a match that will face Botafogo from Brazil and Racing from Argentina.

This will be the second match of its kind that the Venezuelan referee will lead, after his outstanding participation in the final of the 2022 South American Cup Cup, when Palmeiras faced Athletico Paranaense, according to the specialized press.

Valenzuela, who has extensive experience in national and international matches, has been key in high-level matches, such as the semifinal of the Copa Libertadores 2024.
