Venezuelan Ricardo Pinto signed with the Phillies in MLB

The Venezuelan Ricardo Pinto, a player for the Tiburones de La Guaira during the recently concluded season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), reached a minor league agreement with the Philadelphia Phillies.
Pinto was elected the MVP of the final of the LVBP and the Caribbean Series with Tiburones de La Guaira. Those credentials gave him the ticket back to the Big Tent baseball system where he hadn't been since 2022, when he belonged to the Detroit Tigers.
Pinto signs a minor league contract with the Phillies and invites him to summer training.
