In a gesture of brotherhood and diplomatic firmness, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expressed its gratitude to the Government and the people of Iran for the support provided in the face of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States (USA). United States), and reaffirms the strategic alliance between the two nations in defense of sovereignty and international legality.

In this regard, Gil stressed: “The esteemed Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, is not mistaken when he assures that the Venezuelan people will defend their sovereignty and supreme interests against illegal measures imposed by the United States.”

This statement reaffirms the will of the Venezuelan State to maintain a foreign policy based on cooperation, solidarity and mutual respect, and to consolidate the unity of peoples in the face of aggressions that seek to undermine their independence and development.
