Venezuelan women's field hockey won the bronze medal at the Bolivarian Games

The Venezuelan women's field hockey team won the bronze medal at the 2025 Ayacucho and Lima Bolivarian Games, after beating Peru 5-2 at the Andrés Avelino Cáceres Sports Complex in Villa María.

Mariannys González was in charge of commanding the Venezuelan victory with a pair of goals, followed by the scores of her teammates Victoria Torres, Abril Marín and Mery Rodríguez, while the Peruvian players Nicole Cueva and Camila Méndez were discounted.

Venezuela reached the final for bronze after beating its Peruvian counterparts in the first phase (3-1) and yielding to the teams of Paraguay (5-2) and Chile (7-1).
