The Venezuelan Youth and Children's Orchestra and Choir System will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding with a tour of Europe, which will begin on January 11.
According to Eduardo Méndez, executive director of the musical group, the tour is guided by maestro Gustavo Dudamel, and will include academic meetings with children and young people, as well as joint concerts in seven cities.
The Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra will be in charge of inaugurating the 50th anniversary celebration with the European tour, which will begin in Paris on January 11 and will continue in London, Luxembourg, Berlin, Munich, Brussels and Madrid.
The tour includes academic meetings with children and teenagers, and joint pedagogical concerts.
