Since the early hours of this Sunday morning, May 25, Venezuelans, in all 24 states of the country, have come out to exercise their right to vote, to elect governors, deputies to the National Assembly and Legislative Councils.
José Carrera was one of the people from Barinas who before 7 in the morning went to their voting center to choose the candidates of his choice. “It's a fairly fluid process, quite fast, so the invitation is for all Barinese to come out and exercise their right,” he said in statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
In this regard, Valentina Benitez, also, before the VTV cameras, expressed her amazement at the speed of the process, urging all Venezuelans to turn massively to the electoral centers.
“Today is a democratic holiday, which is why it is the call for all people to participate,” Malive Colin said from the state of Mérida.
In addition, Douglas Marquina, reiterated that Venezuelans are a people of peace, so he urged, from the state of Mérida, all our compatriots to vote for and maintain the democratic tradition of Venezuela.
“Everyone come to vote, that's our right. By voting we fulfill the nation,” said Julio César Manrique from Monagas state.
