Venezuelans deployed, this Saturday, in all Bolivar squares in the country to write letters of support and solidarity to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who is being illegally held in the United States together with his first fighter, Cilia Flores.

In statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, explained that these documents will be sent directly to the United States as proof of popular support for the Bolivarian leader.

Fernández explained that this logistical instrumentation is supported by the expanded command of the Revolution, under the direction of figures such as Jorge Rodríguez and Diosdado Cabello. The goal is clear: to project to the world the energy of a people who consider the captivity of their leaders to be unfair. The authorities invited all families to join these expressions of encounter and solidarity in defense of national sovereignty.
