Vice President asked PDVSA workers to form combat bodies to defend the industry

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, called on oil industry workers to form the fighting bodies to defend PDVSA from extremists who seek to destroy it.

“Let us constitute the bodies of fighters so that extremists do not dare to sabotage, so that they know that we are on the fly, our eyes open, our senses open to defend our industry, which is the engine of national development,” he said during a meeting with the working class of the country's main industry.

In addition, the Minister of Petroleum also asked the working class to “refound” PDVSA so that it can continue to serve the people and national development.

“We have to leave behind the vices and distortions that keep us out of the way, that put us at the service of imperial powers. That's why there are quite a few traitors in prison who tried to put the industry at the service of the enemy,” he emphasized.
