Vice President Delcy Rodríguez arrived in India to strengthen bilateral relations

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Thursday, October 24, arrived in the city of New Delhi, India, to fulfill a work agenda, which will strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation, as well as reaffirm the commitment to building the new world without hegemonies.

The information was provided by Rodríguez, on his social networks, where he said that “we have come to greater India to strengthen our ties of friendship and cooperation with this sister nation”.

“We bring the greetings of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and our commitment to consolidating the new world without hegemonism,” he said.

A video was attached to the message, in which it can be seen that the vice-president was received by authorities of the Foreign Ministry of that country and the Venezuelan ambassador accredited to New Delhi, Capaya Rodríguez, as well as part of that country's diplomatic corps.

Venezuela and India have taken significant steps in strengthening their bilateral relations to expand cooperations such as trade, investment and the promotion of alternative energies.

In addition, both countries have signed several agreements in the pharmaceutical and energy industries.
