Vice President Delcy Rodríguez closes the Assembly of the Peoples for the Sovereignty of Our America

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Wednesday the closing plenary of the Assembly of Peoples for the Sovereignty of Our America, which is being held in the Military Circle, in Caracas.

During his speech, Rodríguez thanked, on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, guests from more than 50 countries. “There is no blockade that can withstand solidarity. There is no blockade that can do with the love that other peoples of the world have for Venezuela,” he said.

He also stated that “there is no threat or military aggression that can destroy this love for our peoples”, referring to the military deployment of the United States (US) in the Caribbean, which threatens peace in the region.

“Thank you, dear brothers and sisters who have come to our country with their message of love, of solidarity, of support for Venezuela. In these moments where Venezuela is not afraid, Venezuela is fighting a great battle with the same fervor, with the same emotion that our liberators and our liberators did to it,” he stressed.
