Through her Telegram channel, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she held a meeting with the Agrifood Engine team to review the strategic objectives instructed by President Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, he indicated that these actions are being carried out “to guarantee the country's sovereignty and food security, the strategic substitution of imports and the promotion of agribusiness.”

He also indicated that they also monitored the situation of the rains recorded in the Andes and the West.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to support “producers and to ensure that their crops reach the national market so that economic activity continues its good course”, despite the rains. “With the agri-food engine running, we are still producing for Venezuela!” , he emphasized.
