The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, visited the Socialist Faith Commune located in the 23 de Enero parish of Caracas, to discuss the promotion of local productive activities with the objective of strengthening food self-sufficiency and national economic dynamism.

During the meeting, Rodríguez highlighted that this community center offers basic management mechanisms that integrate training, production and direct administration, benefiting approximately 5,000 families.

The space includes a Training Center of the National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (INCES), focused on the training of the municipal government; a coordination room where collective plans are structured; and a production unit dedicated to raising cattle, such as pigs, laying hens and chickens, as well as vegetables such as lettuce and peppers.

The vice-president emphasized that this experience connects community structures with social and economic assistance programs promoted by the Executive Branch. He added that these environments must consolidate a territorial economy that preserves ecological balance.

Rodríguez also stated that replicating this model of development centers in the capital would allow high levels of food security, protection and autonomy in the face of external pressures.

He emphasized that these productive practices contribute to overcoming the system's dependence on oil revenues, reaffirming the orientation towards national self-determination. “This is the path to a Venezuela with transformative capacity,” he concluded.
