Vice President Delcy Rodríguez: It's time for Venezuela to become a major exporting country

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a working meeting with the members of the National Council for Productive Economy, Export Chapter, in which representatives of the non-oil business association participated.

At the meeting, reviewed by Venezolana de Televisión, Rodríguez highlighted the importance of continuing with the export of various items that the country has. “Today we are taking a historic step, it's time to change, for us to be a great exporting country, because we have great capacities to reach all markets in the world, and we already have the plan carried out,” he emphasized.

At the exploratory meeting based on the policies of the Bolivarian Government, representatives of 150 companies presented proposals to strengthen the sector and the country's economic recovery.

Rodríguez was accompanied by the Sectorial Vice President of the Economic Area, José Félix Rivas Alvarado, the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, the head of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, among others.

In this area, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro signed the Law on Non-Oil Exports, which is aimed at strengthening the sector to guarantee legal conditions for the departure of goods, products and services to international markets.
