Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reaffirms solidarity with China after the earthquake in Xizang

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Wednesday with the Chinese ambassador accredited to the country, Lan Hu, to whom she reiterated the solidarity of the national Government after the recent earthquake in Tibet.

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people, we convey our words of solidarity with the People's Republic of China, especially with the people of the autonomous region of Xizang after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the municipality of Tsogo, in Dingri County. We reiterate our willingness to support in whatever areas are necessary,” Rodríguez said on social networks.

Also, during the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Vice Presidency in Caracas, both authorities ratified the “joint vision of continuing to bet on building a fairer world and a binational agenda that responds to the interests of our peoples”.
