The Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, said this Thursday that Venezuela's oil fields “are in full production.”

During the inauguration of the 3rd edition of ExpoFedeIndustria, in Caracas, Rodríguez referred to the Petro Boscán, Petro Piar, Petro Independencia, Petro Regional del Lago, Petro Sucre, Petro Quiriquire , Petro Junín and Cardón IV refineries.

“The workers of PDVSA maintain their production plan despite the fact that both PDVSA and its partners are victims of unilateral coercive measures,” said the Vice President.

With reference to commitments to foreign oil companies and threats from the United States (USA), Rodríguez emphasized that “these licensing or non-licensing measures are not recognized by the national legal system and we keep these partners, the B partners of these joint ventures, we maintain and respect the agreements signed with them for production.”
