The vice-president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Carlos Quintero, reported this Friday, in a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) that 99.30% of the electoral machines have been installed for the elections next Sunday, May 25.

“By 99.30% we have increased the level of logistics, telecommunications and electricity, which are very important factors... These are very positive results. In addition, we record incidents and we only have 0.53% of the news with the machines or one of their components,” said the vice president of the CNE.

He also added that today the installation of the Electoral Boards is active, together with their members and witnesses, following what has been established within the context of the National Logistics Committee and Operation Republic.

In addition, Quintero stressed that CNE officials have been working hard since January to ensure that the population exercises their right to vote “we have designed a very simple voting experience and the measurement times are under 50 seconds in the four steps of the horseshoe”.
