Vice President Rodríguez: Execution of winning projects in Popular Consultations boosts GDP growth

This Monday, December 08, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the execution of the 42,688 winning projects in the National Popular Consultations in the communities allows for the growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), since at the same time it will contribute to the growth of the construction sector and, therefore, to the growth of the national and communal economy.

This was stated in his speech at the National Hall of the Popular Government System, where the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, led a Review of the management and actions of this National System.

Rodríguez pointed out that it is a matter of building sports fields, high schools, electrical and telecommunications installations, roofs, housing, new university centers, clinics, as well as entrepreneurial projects created by the members of the communities themselves.

He also pointed out that the objective of the Bolivarian Government is to incorporate all the country's economic sectors into the activities carried out by the communes, led by the People.

He added that in this way the popular economy becomes a major influential factor in the nation's financial growth.

The vice-president estimated that by the year 2026 there will be monetary indicators from all the municipalities of Venezuela.
