Vice President Rodríguez: Farce maintained by the United States to intervene in the country has no legal basis

“The great farce that the United States Government strives to maintain in order to intervene in our country has no legal or international cooperation support,” emphasized the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, referring to the joint naval operation between Venezuela and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in waters near La Orchila.

In his account on the social network Telegram, he said that “Venezuela maintains permanent surveillance of its coasts and articulates with other countries, in accordance with international protocols and binational agreements, actions for the fight against drug trafficking.”

“Venezuela will defend its sovereignty within the framework of international law and peace diplomacy, where operational capacities and strategic alliances are demonstrated based on regional stability,” he said.
