The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held an important working meeting with her counterpart from Vietnam, Võ Thi Ánh Xuân, in an expanded meeting in which they discussed various areas.
In addition, from the Hanoi International Convention Center, the authorities observed a photographic exhibition that reviews the years of diplomatic and political relations between the two nations, which are now 35 years old, strengthened by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez and currently continued by President Maduro.
“We see the Vietnam process, defeating colonial powers, empires, the wildest that humanity has ever known, but which is the unity, determination and courage of the People of Vietnam in defense of their national identity and their dignity,” he stressed.
During his agenda, Rodríguez also placed an offering before the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a revolutionary leader who led the fight for Vietnam's independence.
