Vice President Rodríguez thanked the AN for approving the Pension Protection Act

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, expressed her gratitude to the Legislative Branch for the unanimous approval in the second discussion of the Social Security Pension Protection Act against the Imperialist Blockade, whose objective is to create mechanisms to protect pensioners affected by the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States against the country.

On his account on the social network X, Rodríguez stated that “we are very happy and grateful to the National Assembly, for having unanimously approved the Special Law for the Protection of Pensions in times of imperialist blockade.”

“A new and important step by Pdte. @ NicolasMaduro for the recovery of our grandparents' and grandmothers' pensions!” , he highlighted.

Along with the message, he published a video in which he expressed his gratitude to the deputies of the AN, together with the sectorial vice-president of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado and the Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements, Guy Vernáez.
