From her Telegram channel, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the country's economy maintains its growth path despite the criminal blockade, perverse psychological campaigns and warrior threats.
“A demonstration of the deep national unity of our people to resist and overcome difficulties. The infamous IMF will keep the frizzy facts in its lies about Venezuela, while shamelessly destroying Argentina. Venezuela will continue to win together with the people!!” , said the senior official while referring to the balance sheet presented this Thursday by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2025 increased 8.71% compared to the third quarter of 2024. In this way, there are eighteen (18) continuous quarters in which the Venezuelan economy registers a higher level of economic activity, increasingly strengthening its recovery process.
In the third quarter, it is worth noting the growth of 16.12% in oil activity and 6.12% in non-oil activity, according to the BCV press release.
Regarding non-oil activities, the largest expansions were as follows: 16.40% in Construction; 9.35% in Transportation and Storage; 8.98% in Manufacturing; 8.19% in Vehicle Trading and Repair; 7.08% in Mining; 6.89% in Electricity and Water; 6.78% in Accommodation and Food Services; 6.60% in Real Estate, Professional, Scientific, Technical, Administrative and Support Activities; and 6.11% in Agriculture. While oil contributes to growth, Construction, Manufacturing, Mining and Agriculture activities generate strong internal links and strengthening value chains that provide sustainability to growth.
