Vice President Rodríguez: The United States is concerned about the socialist model being built in Venezuela

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during the installation of the World Neighborhood Symposium, assured that the Government of the United States (USA), in addition to wanting to steal resources from Venezuela, is concerned about the socialist model that is being built.

“They are concerned about the model of government that they are building in the neighborhoods (...) the model of political participation that exists in Venezuela with a single flag and a deep root; which is the flag of our Liberators and of our Liberating Father Simon Bolivar, which is the model of Bolivarian socialism, which is a model of community life,” he said .

In that sense, he reiterated Venezuela is not “a military power. We are not the ones who invade countries to change their governments, we are not the ones who murder millions of people in the world to steal their resources. We are the Venezuela of good, the Venezuela that builds, the Venezuela that builds (...) that does have a political and ideological model; which is Bolivarianism, which is social justice ”.

He reiterated that the model of social happiness is clear in Venezuela “and it is the model that we defend, because deep down that model what he is saying is: we are free and we are independent.”
