The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the people of the United States (USA) are outraged to see their authorities commit international crimes and carry out extrajudicial executions in the Caribbean Sea.
“They said about Bolívar that he was an imbecile, a dictator, who had no military expertise, but history demonstrated the extent of his glories and victories,” Rodríguez said during his speech at a meeting in the Socialist Commune of El Legado del Gigante, located in the parish of El Valle, in Caracas.
Rodríguez recalled how in 1823 imperialism tried to denigrate the Liberator Simon Bolivar and that same historical contempt was reissued 200 years later, now directed against the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who is being attacked with all kinds of signs.
The vice-president was emphatic in asserting that “their masks fell off, we already know that it's not that if drug trafficking, that if democracy, no, the real truth is oil, that they want it without paying a cent, and from the working class of the oil industry we say that if they want oil, they have to pay for it, they won't steal it; if they want a gas molecule, we tell the lady who is Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, that they have to pay for it too”.
In this context, Rodríguez supported the decision of the head of state to suspend agreements with Trinidad and Tobago while maintaining the agenda of hostility. “They participated in the theft of the Venezuelan oil vessel, there are no agreements, negotiations, production or gas for Trinidad and Tobago as long as Prime Minister Kamla Persad's agenda of hostility continues.”
He reiterated that Venezuela has the right to defend itself, to vindicate its history, its sovereignty and the defense of its natural resources.
