On Sunday, July 28, Venezuela held the presidential elections and the candidate Nicolás Maduro was re-elected with 5 million 150 thousand 092 votes representing 51.20% of the ballots, according to information from the National Electoral Council (CNE). After announcing these results, an opposition sector called to ignore them and promote demonstrations in the country.
