This Sunday, October 5, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted that thanks to the Plan for the Homeland of the 7 Transformations, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela now has comprehensive policies of love and protection of animals.

In this regard, from the spaces of El Laguito, in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, during the special day dedicated to the protection and welfare of fauna for World Animal Day, he highlighted that through various institutions and the Nevado Mission, these policies for the protection and care of animals are being carried out.

“It's a comprehensive policy of love of life, of love of animals, of love of nature, of how we make every effort to guarantee the rights of nature, where the predatory capitalist model ignores its right and compromises life,” he said.

He also highlighted that the Bolivarian Government is also working with policies so that the youngest members of the house learn a love for animals and nature. At the same time, he indicated that our country is among the countries with the greatest biodiversity in the world and that is why it is important for all of us to join forces to protect and care for it.

“Our capacity to love is infinite, to love life, peace, the future; and to love nature is to preserve the future,” he emphasized.

At the same time, he questioned governments that are unaware of the climate emergency that the planet is experiencing today. “They intend to condemn humanity as a species, they intend to condemn it to extinction,” he said.

He reaffirmed that Venezuela's politics will always be one of love for life and nature; for this reason, he reiterated that our country will continue to promote and support programs for the preservation of the environment and animal fauna.
